Interesting first workshop yesterday at the Escola Sert College of Architects of Catalonia - COAC on Industry and Architecture, within the framework of the Postgraduate Degree in Sustainability, with the participation of the companies SOPREMA Iberia (green roofs with sedum), Saint-Gobain (Planistar Orae glass and planet plates, with good percentages of material from recycling) and CA Centroalum Technical Department (recycled aluminum and PVC with high percentages of 95% and 100%).
Very interesting format that we will surely replicate in the Postgraduate in Rehabilitation and some first immediate reflections:
- Companies must continue in this line of alternative "eco" manufacturing until they stop producing the “other” polluting traditional industrialized products, in favor of the new ranges.
- We must increase the demand for “eco” products so that their prices drop even further, either by our optional prescription or by regulatory imposition.
- It is important to emphasize that the range of products adapts to Rehabilitation, which is where the problem is, what we have been doing wrong for centuries.
