On November 14th, the structural consolidation intervention began on the party wall separating the former Provincial Library of Beat Domènec and the Cal Boter building, located in the municipality of Esparreguera. The project was commissioned by the Town Hall of Esparreguera. This party wall, constructed with rammed earth, had suffered significant damage due to intense rainfall recorded at the end of summer. Additionally, other construction-related pathologies caused by water infiltration into the building were identified.
The works, carried out in collaboration with the specialized company Urcotex, include the consolidation of the party wall and the repair of other affected elements. The project is expected to last approximately four months.
